Duane's Story
Life
Rosemary (Reid) and I are still here in EW, married for 25+ years. In fact we live (509.884.6357) within a mile of where we were raised. Our parents live in EW as well. She works part-time for the Eastmont S D and I am self-employed.
We have four children: the youngest is in the second grade, Cameron; Chris is in a pre-engineering program at college; Cosette is the office manager at the Wenatchee Golds Gym; Camille is married, has a daughter, Madison Grace, and travels with her husband Brian Koeing around the country working on newsprint printing presses.
Hevly Technical Services is a small family business; the lab and service center (509.886.7221) is located at the Pangborn Airport Business Park. The business office (509.884.3210) is attached to our home.

My fondest memories of growing up in East Wenatchee focuses on the values that were developed by being with the some great young men who included me in their activities when they didnÂt have to. I have a great deal of loyalty and love for all of them regardless of what theyÂve become or didnÂt become. From them there was a great deal of positive peer pressure that kept me out of trouble and moving forward. Without being too self-critical, I could be a bit weird, a loaner and rebellious. The guys checked me with reality. When I wanted to watch TV after school, the guys pulled me into a neighborhood game of ball. Honestly, I was at the right place and the right time and consider myself blessed to have my life placed purposefully as it was. Life is not a series meaningless random events and neither are the friendships we develop.
