Duane's Story

Life 6 years in US Navy after graduation,on the Nuclear submarine,the Greenling. 4 years at University of Oklahoma then moved to California. Had two wonderful kids-a boy Chris and a girl Jenny. Both of whom were Elite Gymnasts for their time in school. I Worked at Mare Island Naval Shipyard as a civilian Nuclear Safety Inspector for about 20 years where we repaired and refueled Nuclear Submarines and some surfac...Expand for more
e ships like Cruisers and Aircraft Carriers. When the government closed down the shipyard, I retired. I was divorced in 1999 and and started my own business in Southern California. Reconnected with Betty Cole Anderson, and moved back to So. Dak. We live "part-time" in Rapid City, but in the Winter we jump into the Motorhome and head for Warmer Climates (Texas, Arizona, and Calif....maybe try Florida next time)
