Dwayne's Story
Well it has been at least 25 years since I last had a good laugh or a fond memory at Our Lady of the Rosary. I still stay in touch and am as close as ever to Gary Neville whom I met there in fourth grade. I moved to California about two years after leaving Our Lady and never found cause to come back east although I had interest in attending Harvard at one point in time. I didn't make it to Harvard, but I did go to USC and majored in business.
I now live between LA, Chi, and KC running a company that invests in and re-tools real estate developments and operating companies. Prior to that I spent over a decade running a lobbying firm based out of LA and decided to do something else with my life and did an MB...Expand for more
A that I completed last year. Gary came to my graduation actually.
My greatest accomplishment I have to say is my son Cole. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me!! I am a single father and am wanting to have more kids although I'd like to get married at some point....maybe....hopefully..lol.
In any case, I would love to hear from anyone out there in Our Lady of the Rosary world that too has fond memories of good laughs, Sister Vincentia, Ms. HAM-zoui, Father Donnochi that looked like Rodney Dangerfield and snow days with no school.
I hope and pray that you are all well. My other hope is that my son has the experiences in grade school that I found to be so memorable in my life.
