Dwayne's Story

HI former classmates and friends: Well I¿ve landed in Eureka Ca in 2003 with my two boys Jacob (15) and Joshua (12) and life is great!! I would love to hear from any past acquaintances even if we didn¿t know each other really well. WESTWOOD Ca: 70-79 My mother and two older sisters (Judy +4yrs & Julie +5yrs) moved to Westwood when I was 3 in 1970. I went school at Fletcher Walker Elementary School from Kindergarten thru the 6th grade (1979). I¿ve always regretted not being able to stay in Westwood through High School. I remember all the kids I went to school with as almost family well maybe a dysfunctional one¿ lol I have so many good memories of Westwood lizard catching in the fields west of Green Wood Street. I was born there and have so much family that still leaves there. I spend a lot of time in Yreka because my father lives there on the family¿s ranch. RED BLUFF: 81-85 I spent most of my high school days in Red Bluff. I have many great memories from those days. But after graduating I couldn¿t get out of there fast enough¿ lol I had to get the city to chase my dream of being a professional body builder. Bay Area 85 ¿ 2003 In the Bay Area I went to college and pursued my body building career. I had some success and a lot fun with the body building. But an injury and getting a ¿real¿ job that wasn¿t at a gym ended that chapter of my life. I worked in Silicon Valley and a number of different high tech companies until getting laid off during the dot bomb days.. I used that opportunity to move my family out of the city and move to a small town.
