Dwight's Story
I attended the former West Whalley Jr Secondary School in 1967. Finished high school at Burnaby Central after moving to Burnaby from Surrey (attended QE on shift at Princess Margaret in Newton) near the end of grade 11 (early 1968). Graduated from UBC in 1975 and then taught junior high school for 5 years (1975-80) in Prince George, BC. Completed a MPE at UBC in 1973 and then a PhD at U Alberta in 1988. Taught at U Alberta, U Regina, and Griffith University (at the Gold Coast, Australia--70kms south of Brisbane). Retired from Griffith U in 2013.

e George and with the UBC Braves/Thunderbirds before being medically withdrawn by surgeons. I continue to suffer the enjoyment of these sport experiences. One is invincible until old age. Even golf hurts now. Would do it all again.
Now busy in retirement with too many projects. Still researching and writing books and articles (see Google Scholar for the shite I produced--if you are bored).
I have two children living in greater Vancouver and one granddaughter (and 2 ex wives--I am a slow learner of how relationships should work). I also have a beautiful Aussie "Sheila" of good prisoner stock who I love beyond belief. I am also a double colonial being both a Canadian and an Australian.
Life is good.
