E Gene is from Pleasant Lake, Indiana. His schools include Pleasant Lake High School, a year and summer at Ball State, then on to Franklin College for 3 more years. Gene was selected to be Franklin's first Rotary Club exchange student to Freiburg, Germany (1954055). Spent the summer of 1960 in Germany as a group leader for the Experiment In International Living. But I spent most of my working career with a great company, Farm Bureau Insurance, starting as an Agent in Angola, then transferring to Muncie as an Agency Manager there..
