Earl's Story
Life
Well, came out to LA in 1980? 81? for a vacation and just to help a dear friend(Jeff Tempest)and his new wife(Carol) get settled into a new place. When I got here, I knew it was where I wanted to be. After one week of vacation I went job hunting. The morning I was to return to RI, I made a last minute call to see if they had selected anyone for one of the jobs I had applied for earlier that week. They replied..."How soon can you start?". Hence, two weeks later my life in sunny California began.
Thanks Jeff McTempelinski !!
About a year and a half later I started a marraige that lasted 12 years. After having 2 boys...Justin in 1986 & Sean in 1990, 2 apartments, two houses, a dog and lots of bills, we divorced.

als.
In 2000, I got married again...well that didn't last long...a year and a half. As you can see I'm picking the wrong women or I'm really bad at it.
Well, the good part is...Life now is really great! My boys live with me every other week and I am enjoying the heck out of them. They are both very musically talented...wonder where they get it from? UVL ????
Workplace
Working at Jet Propulsion Laboratory (a NASA Center) in Pasadena California since 1985. I am a senior flight systems test & integration engineer. I recently was promoted to member of technical Staff in the Architetural & Stratigic planning, Program Office. I will provide logistics support for JPL Spacecrafts during Assembly, Test & Launch Operations (ATLO). What that really means? I'm responsible for moving the spacecrafts and support systems around JPL and transporting it to Kennedy Space Center in Florida for launch. It's really cool!
