Life In 1968 I married my high school sweetheart, Sally Coulter. Sally graduated from Woodlands HS. To avoid the draft, I enlisted in the USAF and spent 25 years on active duty. Our assignments took us to Taiwan, Virginia, Hawaii, Labrador and 2 tours in California. We retired from the AF in Sacramento (Travis AFB) in 1992 and stayed there until 1997 (after both girls graduated from college.) We then moved to Austin, Texas. Our older daughter, Jennifer was getting a job transfer and wanted us to come - so we did. Our younger daughter, Katie, joined us in Austin in 2000. I currently work for the US post office in Dripping Springs, TX. It is about 20 miles outside Austin in the beautiful Texas hill country. The post office is in a small town and I have gotten to know almost all the residents so it makes my job a pleasant one. I plan to retire in 3-4 years. In 2000, Sally quit her career (medical/dental office management and medical transcription) to become a fulltime nanny/Grammy to our first granddaughter. ...Expand for more
