Ed Mauget:  

I've been married to Carey Mauget for 51 years. I'm her second husband! We have several grandchildren and great-grand-children, all living in our area of greater Raleigh, NC. I met Carey at Michigan State University, so we have family in Michigan also. My brother, Rick, lives in greater Spokane, WA.. Sister, Luanne, lives in Billings, MT. I currently run a John R. Rogers Alumni Association web portal at rogersalumni.com. During the 2000 decade I ran a now-discontinued John R. Rogers Class of 1960 website. The wildest thing I did at school? I carelessly filled the third floor with red smoke from a chemical experiment gone wrong. I recall fire trucks, hoses, and all of us standing across the street on Wellesley. Afterward, Mr Carroll simply said, "No more pyrotechnics, okay, Ed?" I had to look up the word. And then there were no more pyrotechnics. Life Post-Rogers: six years at East Lansing, Michigan attending MSU. In 1964 in mid-education, I did six months of Army basic training at Ft Knox. After graduation I tried to live six months in Spokane. In Sept 1966, I hired on with IBM, working 12 years in the San Francisco area followed by 22 more IBM years in Raleigh, NC, beginning in 1978.
