School
I started school in Northville in the 9th grade, after completing junior high on the West side of Detroit (Evergreen and 7 Mile). I began College at the University of Florida in Sept. 1958 and transferred to Central Michigan University in January 1959, graduating in June 1962. I had a math major and physics minor. ...Expand for more
I did post graduate work in math at Brevard Engineering College (Florida) and at U. of M. Also, I took many computer courses following college.
Workplace
My first job was for RCA Service Co. doing missile data reduction and computer programming at the Cape in Florida. I returned to Michigan in January 1964 and worked at the U of M Institute of Science while taking courses at U of M. In June of 1966, I was hired by Ford Motor Co. and worked there until my early retirement in December 1998.
