Edd's Story
Life
After Tokay I went to Berkeley for more years than I could have ever imagined. Between degrees I taught elementary school as part of the Teach For America program. I finished my PhD in 2004 at Berkeley and moved to the land of cheese, and worked as a Math Education professor. I loved the job, but for God sakes it is Wisconsin! I recently got hired at Northwestern University and am having a great time in Chicago. I've been playing football and softball in the adult leagues, and realizing that damn my body aint...Expand for more
what it used to be. I still get back to California a couple times each year. I can't believe I ended up in a place that snows nearly half the year, but life has been fun despite that. I still love skiing, hiking, rafting, blading, even though it is a little harder to get to out here. I miss the ocean, but Lake Michigan is big enough for now. Way behind on the family, but hope to be caught up in 5 years. <grin> I hope to see you all next June.
