My oldest son is in the Outdoor Education business in B.C. After 10-yrs, he sold his own business and now is general manager of the Canadian operations of a British Outdoor Education Company. They have programs in Whistler, Banff, Fernie and Roslyn. He has 2 children. My youngest son is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, presently working in a hospital in Gatineau, QC. He has 3 children.
During my teaching career, I did a 1-yr exchange, and taught in Wales for that year (92-93).
In 2000-01, I took a sabbatical and traveled alone for 1 year, from S.E.Asia to Central America, and points in between.
