Edna's Story

Life Hi, It's an amazing world we live in today. I never would have dreamed this would be possible to do when we were in school a million years ago. I never graduated but went to work, moved to Vancouver in "66" and never stopped until 2002 when I took early retirement and then moved to Victoria. I have since moved back to Vancouver to enjoy the many music festivals that take place here and be a little closer to my friends & family. rd of the Maple Ridge Jazz & Blues Festival Society for 4 years and was instrumental in bring the festival to fruition each year...I still volunteer each year....lots of hard work but what a blast ! Traveling has always been one of my passions and have done a lot of over the years in Europe, USA, and Caribbean. There's so many places I'd like to see and places I'd like to go back to.....England, Scotland and Ireland...so much wonderful history. The Olympics are over now but it was a fabulous 2 weeks. The excitement and camaraderie in the streets was almost surreal. This was absolutely the highlight for me, even beating out watching the womens and mens hockey finals at LiveCity Downtown with thousands of others. Cheers !
