Edward (Ed)'s Story

Life After becoming a Christian in 1959 I attended Biola College in La Mirada and graduated in 1962 with a degree in Bible and Christian Education. The next 40 plus years were spent in various forms of christian ministrys including 8 years in Chicago. In 1983-4 my wife Joyce and I attended Grace Theological Seminary and I graduated with an M.A. in Biblical Counseling which lead to a new phase of ministry to help others. Thus, for the last 20 I have served as Director of Tri Cities Center for Christian Counseling in Kingsport, Tn. In the beautiful northeast part in the Smoky Mountains. And it is still a thrill to be able to help hurting folk and families find relief and victory over life's hurts and be reunited and in love again better than ever. le! Now it is 2014 and I have retired from TCCC after 30 years directing the counseling Center. Yet I still see the folks who call me for help here at our home in Kingsport as it is still so satisfying to see our living and loving triune God reaching out to help hurting folks find hope again, that God really does love and want to forgive and restore our lives to peace and with His forgiveness have a renewed sense of HOPE; even enough to face life's extra difficulties we face these days. I would certainly enjoy attending Excelsior's multiple Class Party this June,2014 but 2500 miles is still a long way to travel. Ouch! as it has been over 30 years since I was able to attend a reunion. Are any of the 1958 graduates still alive? Hope so. Thanks for reading my bio update.
