edward's Story
After high school, joined the Navy became a Corpsman and spent 2 years on a flagship in the Mediterranean. Apartment in Italy, 250 Ducati motorcycle and a short drive to Rome or Naples. Visited Morocco, Tunisia, Greece, Yugoslavia, Malta, France (yes the Riviera) Monaco, Spain, Portugal, Germany Austria, Switzerland. Transferred to Oakland Naval Hospital, Oakland CA in 1970. Discharged in 72, and moved back to California, settling in Silicon Valley.. Married in 74, (still), 2 kids, both girls ( and the problems associated with girls :-) ), 3 grandkids., played in band until 1988 (Justin Sayne Band) a typical garage band. In 1990 midlife crisis, decided to become a professional fishermen, 1992 won the West Coast Bass Classic as an amateur and fished for 20 years. (Still had a regular job, bu...Expand for more

Member of California Statewide Law Enforcement Association and FOP lodge 72. Still working because it's fun, although retirement is on the horizon. Nationally licensed soccer coach and 8th level referee. Currently coaching an U14 Boys competitive team. (yes I do run around with 12 and 13 year olds on the pitch even though I'm FOG) FOG stands for fat old guy. Currently not fishing , but into cars. Bought wife a 2015 Roush Mustang which we've received 5 trophies for. Currently being upgraded from 435 horses to 700 with a whipple supercharger, and carbon fiber goodies.
