Edward E's Story
After Graduation I attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA for 3 years. I finished at Penn State in 1969. I married Barbara Bateman from Bethlehem, PA in 1962 and we moved back to Norristown in 1965. Barbara was a Norristown School Crossing Guide at Powell and Freedley Sts for a few years. We had one daughter, Holly Elizabeth, who died in 2008 of brain cancer. I was a volunteer Firefighter in Norristown for 30 years, a member of the Humane Fire Company at Main & Green Sts. rvisor at the Montgomery County Public Safety Communications (911) Center until retiring in 1989. Barbara and I moved to Port St. Lucie FL in January 1994 where I have worked as a Quality Control Sample Coordinator for Cargill (Grapefruit) Juice, North America until Hurricanes Francis & Jeanne destroyed the plant in 2004 and then for the City of Fort Pierce Building Department before finally retiring (again) in 2008. Barbara and I live comfortably in retirement, take a boatload of pills every day and are just enjoying Cruising, traveling, and each other.
