Edward's Story
Edward is from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is married with Myrna Corcino. His schools include Kennedy High School. He later attended City College of New York (Theatre). usiness end of the entertainment and art industry. Graduated as a theater major, with numerous staged college productions and some off Broadway credits; he has spent countless hours working behind the scenes in every different level of theatrical design (lights, stage and costume design), business operations, casting and marketing for college, off Broadway and off-off Broadway theater productions.
Edward has most recently been engaged in digital videography, graphics animation and editing. Although he is mainly self-taught, Edward is highly knowledgeable in NLE programs Adobe Premier, Avid and Final Cut, and has taken courses at the Fashion Institute of Technology in interactive media production and animation. He has been focusing more on doing independent digital video work and editing pro bono for local artist and nonprofit groups.
Currently, Edward works at the Fashion Institute of Technology while also serving as a reserve in the United States Coast Guard. He is an active member of his local Community Board (Bronx Community Board 8), president of the Latino affiliate group of the Alumni Association of the City College of New York and member of the Association of Navel Services Officers.".
