Edward's Story
Graduated from USL with degree in photography in 71. Married Flo Arceneaux and worked as photographer in Lafayette for a year. Dropped out and bought 80 acres in Newton County,AR (Ozarks). Sold place after a year and moved to community north of Lake Charles called Open House. Continued to do photography work and grow 3 acre garden and orchard. Took care of indigent folks and helped them get back on their feet. After ten years of this we started giving family retreats for about 5 years. es, and the Jennings branch. Was ordained a Permanent Deacon in 1983. Was Family Life Director for DOLC, Fiscal Administrator for St. Henry's in LC. Moved to Jennings in 1991 and took up work as photographer and deacon for 2 parishes in Jennings. Retired last year. Flo continues to work as Reigious Ed. Coordinator at OLHC. Five grown children who are all married. Two sons and their families live in Jennings and two daughters and families live in Lake Charles and Moss Bluff.
