Life All is well out here in the deep south. Yes I have relocated to South Carolina. Pushing 40 and finally riding the lawn mower, the wife and I have tiny little 10 acre spread out here in what can only be described as the “jungle” of the south. The bugs are big, the narrow minded thinking is even bigger but hey what can you do. Happiness and the American Dream can still be found here during these tough times in our economy; just don’t tell anyone you are a Catholic or a Democrat. Leave your tie-died shirts and topsiders in California if you ever come to visit or else my neighbors will look at you funny. As for work, well work is work. I work for one of the big three in fright transportation as a driver manager and former truck driver. Since the IPO’s fell in California as well as my marriage I high tailed it far away to start anew. Leaving the fast paced life and my office chair in the parking lot of a Good Will for a final write off, my new young wife and I are making life the best we can out here. To all my old friends, and you know who you are, I think of you often with the best of memories. With my wife in tow I will see you all again I hope at the next reunion. ...Expand for more
