Edward's Story
Born on 5/3/62 in Philadelphia, PA. Name was Edward Strano. At the age of 3 my parents divorced and my mother remarried Ron Gillenardo. He adopted me (an 2 sisters) when I was in the first grade at Poplar St. Elementary in Hazleton, PA. Then I became Edward Gillenardo. In 1972 my parents bought a house in the terrace (Randon Lane) and our school was changed to Locust St. Elem. for 5th and 6th grade. Junior High was at Grebey on Vine St. (now demolished). Then 1977-1980 I was at HHS. Marched in the band. Sung in the choir. Also was a member of the Silver Beavers Junior Drum and Bugle Corps. My musical instruments: My favorite and majoring instrument has always been the organ, Minor instruments: Percussion, lower brass (Tuba), and hand bells. mace. Since then I've been to Lake City, FL, Greeneville, TN. Both places I was primarily involved with church music ministry. In 2014 I returned to college life at ITT Technical Institute (Johnson City, TN) and 2 years later graduated with an Associates of Science in Electronics/Electrical Engineering. I graduated 3rd in my class with a 3.5 gpa. After, my wife of 16 1/2 years divorced me. Then in 2018 I relocated closer to family (Milton, DE) where I basically re-booted my life. I worked mostly in electronics and did music ministry as more of a volunteer. My employment went from Perdue Processing plant (Automated System Maintenance) to K&l Microwave (RF Radio Electronics) to Millennium Microwave (Princess Anne, MD) where I currently work. I also live less then 1 mile from work in Princess Anne. My hobbies are HAM Radio (K4EAG) and model trains. I also love boating and fishing and fishing, and fishing and...(etc.) Oh, did I mention I love fishing?
