Life After wasting my younger days in Richmond (I had no clue back then), I moved to D.C. where I started a career in the administrative field. I met the woman of my dreams in this (and any other) lifetime, and was employed at the National Veterans Legal Services Program (a non-profit that sues the V.A. & B.V.A. for the rights of veterans). Following D.C. my wife and I moved to Silver Spring, where I later worked as an Office Administrator for a small company called TTSS Interactive Products (they produce touchscreen & wayfinding technologies for a variety of uses). I worked there for over four years before my wife convinced me to move back to Richmond to be with family (not necessarily my family - they just came ready made with the territory - but my wife's sister, her husband & our nephew). I'm finding Richmond to be the bane of employment, and have been temping since we moved in late 2002, but I hope to soon find a place with decent wages. The reason being my wife & I purchased a home in the West End earlier this year. A homebody by nature (there's not much this side of museums, theater, or opera that I'd rather do than watch the Science Channel, a forensics show, or DEAD LIKE ME on Showtime), I'm happily surprised to find I'm enjoying yard/house work. It's very satisfying.
