Edward's Story
I am currently living in Denver, and recently renewed my private practice in Clinical and Consulting Psychology -- doing mostly work with medical patients with chronic conditions and depression, and families dealing with divorce. This is after a 6 year excursion into the eLearning world, putting universities online, as the Manager of the eTeaching Institute at eCollege.com.
Previously, I spent 20 years as a Clinical and Consulting Psychologist -- establishing Private Practices in Massachusetts and Colorado, serving as the Director of Consultation and Education at the Worcester (MA) Youth Guidance Center, and as an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts Medical School....Expand for more
After obtaining my BA in Psychology at the University of Maryland (67), I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer (Community Development) in Colombia, S.A. from 67-69. I was a conscientious objector 71-73, and then got my Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology at the University of Virginia in 79.
I am very happily married (38 years) to Barbara and have two boys, Josh(27) who graduated from Washington U (St Louis) and is now studying in Jerusalem, and David(23) who recently graduated from the U of Rochester and is trying to make it in the music biz in Boston. When not working out or surfing online, I really prefer to be skiing down the slopes of the nearby Rocky Mountains or traveling to other countries.
