Edward's Story
Although accepted in college, I joined the Army after HS. Knew I wanted to do other things first. Got out after the first enlistment but stayed in Fayetteville, NC. Met my wife to be, Adele, and began that phase of life. Adele was reared in West Virginia and she is, without doubt, my best friend.
Still married to Adele, we live in Memphis, TN. My oldest (F) has a MA in classical voice, now married and has one son. My son got out of the military some years ago and is soon graduating with an accounting/business degree. He is married and will have a son in January. I've done many things over the years. Currently, I work for the Army Corps of Engineers and am a Safety and Occupational Health Manager. With the Corps, I've done tours in Eastern Europe (1998) and the Middle East (2003;2005;2009). Also involved with the post-Katrina New Orleans reconstruction.
The significant event in my life was when I became a Christian.This occurred 30+ years ago. Getting connected to our Creator through Jesus Christ is an amazing event with life-long consequences.
