Edward's Story
Life
My name is Edward Potter, I go by Eddie. I was born May 5, 1976 to Denise and Don Potter in Elk Grove CA. I lived in Elk Grove, CA untill I was 13 years old. We moved to Abilene Texas for a couple of years and then on to Virginia Beach Va for a year. We then moved back to Sacramento where I attended Florin High School from the 10th to the 12th grade. I lived in Sacramento till October 1995 when I joined the Navy. I was in the Navy from October 1995 to September 2005.
School
I started at Mckee Elementary in Elk Grove CA then went to Joseph Kerr Jr. HS. We then moved to Texas where I went to, Merkel Middle School, Jefferson Middle School, and Cooper HS. In Virginia I went to Cox H.S. We then moved back to Cali where I finished H.S. at Florin H.S. "Class of 1994!!!!"
Workplace

h VA, and worked for Zero's Submarines (better that Subway). Then back to Sacramento CA and worked at Denny's, Mcdonald's, Little Ceasars, K-mart and Milgard Manufacturing. I then went on to spend 10 years in the US Navy.
When I got out, i started working for the Navy as a civilian in Lemoore, CA. We then moved to Virginia for a year. I now work in Nashville, TN for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Military
I joined the Navy October 4th 1995. I have been all over the world. I have been to Naples Italy, Sicily, Jebel Ali (Gulf), Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Bahrain (Gulf), Canada, Puerto Rico, Australia and Hawaii. I have been on 4 aircraft Carriers, USS NIMITZ, USS STENNIS, USS CONSTELLATION and USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN. On my latest deployment 3 days after one of the biggest Tsunami's in history hit we started conducting Humanitarian Relief off the coast of Thailand for just over a month. When I got out of the Navy I was a PN2 (Personnelman Second Class - E5).
