Edward's Story
Life
After I left Clifton High School in the tenth grade I jioned the Marine Corps for four years.I went to Paris Island for boot camp. Then to camp Lajune for infantry training in North Carolina. Then I went to Memphis Tenn. for avonics school.Then to Cherry Piont NC. From there to Nam for 18 months.My last duty sation was Marreita Ga.I got out in April of 1971. I stayed in Ga. for awhile. Then moved toHuston Tx. for awhile came back to Ga. Then Iwent back to Clifton for about three years.I got married and had two daughters. In 1975 I moved my f...Expand for more
amily back to Ga. and have been here ever since. I had another daughter in 1977.We divorced in 1980. I raised the girls by my self.I've been a mailman for the past 28 yrs.I plan to retire in two more yrs.I have two dogs a black lab and a Australin shepared. My oldest daughter is in the Army for about 9 yrs now. She works in the Pentagon.My middile daughter is in the Natonal Guard. She is in Kuwait now.My youngest daughter is a state probation officer and is in te National Guard also.I'm on marrige number three now, third times the charm they say.
