Life after graduation,joined the air force, college was not in my plans,ed gusten, george phillips from our class went with me to basic training in texas,then on to lowry afb in denver colorado for armament training for 20 weeks, denver was a classy town,then they lowered the boom on me, my first duty assignment was in great falls,montana,spent a year there,then a year in billings,montana, nice place to visit but for a boy from the city, montana was not the place to be ,but with about a year to go in my enlistment they tapped me on the shoulder and said,"SON",give me that guitar,"take this rifle" "vietnam" is the place we would like you to be,so off i go to bien hoa for about 2 months then they ship me up north to tuy hoa,glad to report i made it through that insane war,no leadership at the top,we could have won with a guy like schwartzkoph running the war instead of politicians, glad to get home to land of the big bx...Expand for more
