After high school, I did the standard 2 yr stint at OWCC, after which I went East to Tallahassee to finish at FSU. While there, I became an avid mountain bike addict, which eventually ended in a mangled bike, severe head trauma (temporary blindness), and a very unimpressed oak tree. Persistent visual and cognitive issues, along with chronic migraines of unspeakable pain forced me to drop out of FSU. I spent the next several years in retail, working at several pharmacies as a store manager. Eventually, I moved back to Tallahassee and worked for CompUSA, Outsource, Inc. and Sprint Data Network Ops. I was able to return to FSU, and finished my Bachelor's in web applications programming and network telecommunications. I was picked up by the Panama City Campus of FSU to run their network backup servers and open lab application servers, where I stayed for the next 3 years. During that time, I worked on my Master's in Information Technology Management and was a teaching assistant for a while. I moved to the Tampa Bay area in 2005 and picked up a position at the University of South Florida as the administrator of streaming video for the USF Netcast systems, where I currently work.
