Edwin's Story
Life
Born and raised in Brooklyn NY,. Joined the Army when in HS, spent two years in Korea, three in Hawaii and two in Germany. Returned back home in 1986. Retired from the Postal Service in 2016 . While back home I have been able to run 11 marathons, competed in over 30 triathlons including one ironman distance race. r on the Iraqi/Kuwaiti border, I call it the armpit of the desert. Unbelievable experience, I am a better person today for having been there! Spent 2008 in Afghanistan as well. I retired from the Army as a Chief Warrant Officer Three in 2017. Full time student at LIU Brooklyn (2016-2019), finished a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science, and a Master of Science in Exercise Science, concentration in Exercise Physiology, Sports Nutrition, and Fitness for Special Populations.
