Edwin Martin (Potratz's Story
I graduated from FPHS in 1963 and then attended McNeese State College without distinction, but for getting drafted into the U.S. Army. That turned out to be a good career move and I ultimately retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army.
I love traveling the world and have visited Canada, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, Belieze, Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Italy, France, Spain, Canary Islands, Bahamas, England, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Norway, Finland, Poland, Estonia, Russia, Japan and China. The Republic of Vietnam is a trip I would like to make a second time, but as a tourist the second go round.

11. Internal Auditor, Customs Service, Miami and New Orleans 1975 to 2001
12. Internal Auditor, Department of Homeland Security - 2001 until retirement in 2008
13. Married and divorced between 11 and 13 above and no children,
14. Lieutenant Colonel, United States Army Reserve retired in 2004
15. Actively involved with non-profit charitable work and in particular Friday Night Before Mardi Gras and Belle Reve Shelter Resources of New Orleans, both 501(c)(3) non-profits are devoted to helping individuals with HIV and AIDS
16. Moved to Lafayette, LA in 2010
17. Changed my last name to my mother's maiden name to honor her. My new name is: Edwin Martin Potratz Chapman
18. Now all I seem to have time to do is yard work, house work and paper work.
