Edwin's Story
“Life - Very Retired”
Living year round on a 1978 Tayana 37 Sailboat named Mama Bear in memory of Angela who died January 2022 after a very valiant battle against multiple myeloma.
Have taken Mama Bear to Florida 2022, 2023, & 2024 winters. Mama Bear is my 4th restoration in the last 22 years, All four are Cutter rigged double enders: 1978 Southern Cross 31, 1980 Southern Cross 39, and 1978 Pacific Seacraft Mariah 31.
Flew to Tahiti, French Polynesia for a 2 week stay in May 2024 to visit good friends who were sailing from Europe to New Zealand aboard their boat, Mersoleil.

Taught High School Social Studies in Freehold Regional High School system from 1971-73. Worked AT&T 1973-84. Daughter Leah born August 30, 1975. Self-employeed, 2 Video Rental stores, 1984-1994. 1994-2010 selling Real Estate in Somerset and Hunterdon counties.
USCG Masters Captain license since 2008 - taught sailing & operated charter sailboat when I could.. 2012-2020 independent contract consultant for data systems development. Lived in Bridgewater, NJ 1974-2022. Love Sailing and Travel.
My Sister Roseann Lives in PA, my brother Carl passed in 2021, Brother Joe lived in Virginia but just moved to New Bern, NC
