Eileen's Story
Life
My maiden name is Eileen Cogan. I spent the first year of my life at St. Ann's orphanage in D.C. before I was adopted by the most wonderful parents in the world.
As a child & adolescent some of my fondest memories are my years at Assumption & ICA in Washington, D.C. I passed the Capital & White House each day on my way to ICA.
There are days when I really miss the big city life, especially the shopping.
I enjoy sewing, collecting Dept 56 Snow Village, Radko ornaments, and Hummels. And I love Christmas!
During college I married my husband David Endres. I have 2 children, Erik & Darlene. My son Erik is finishing his Ph.D. in mathematics at Penn State. My daughter, Darlene is an Oncology Nurse at St. Francis Hospital in Ind...Expand for more
ianapolis.
In my spare time I make vestments, altar vesture and banners, etc. for St. Charles. And....I've been making habits for the Little Sisters of the Poor for a number of years as a volunteer.
I still love to drive fast so we bought a Porsche Boxter. It handles beautifully. I'm trying hard not to get any more tickets but it's hard especially when people gun their engines at me.
My husband was federally employed & that's how we ended up in Indiana. Before that we lived in Raleigh, NC for eleven years, which I loved. I'm hoping that when Dave retires we will return there.
We have 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that are adorable.
Hope to hear from old classmates, people from my era and people who share the same interest.
