Eileen's Story
Life
Shortly after graduation, my mom passed away, thus spinning me into orbit, resulting in looking in many directions to find my place in this world. I eventually moved to Vermont where I met and married my husband Bill. We have built a beautiful life together, through hard work and a little luck!! Two years ago, we moved to Eastern North Carolina, loving every minute of it!! Bill has retired from the military after serving many years, he was injured in Iraq in 2005 and spent two years at Walter Reed Army Military Hospital in Washington, DC. e have no biological children but have helped raise several children that needed a loving home, they are now young adults that are happy and living wonderful lives.

It breaks my heart to add that on April 20, 2008 my brave, loving husband suddenly passed away from a Pulmonary Embulism. I know he is in a better place, but that is no comfort to me at this horrible time. Whoever reads this, treasure your loved ones, life is short, too short.
