Life
A year and half ago I returned to part-time work at the hospital that I retired from in 1998. I only work one or two days a week, The 12 hour shifts are killers, but pass real fast. It's kind of nice getting a paycheck again, but best of all I love the camaradiere of the fellow nurses and staff. I guess that hospital personnel really are "my family".

After many years of reading a multitude of books and stories, I decided to sit down and write my own. It is one that I have mulled over for twent...Expand for more
y years. It is finally finished and I am in the editing stage. ( I belong to a Writers Group that meets every 4-6 weeks for lunch and we critique each others completed work.) Next comes the trial of finding an agent and then a publisher. Wish me luck. Regardless, I have enjoyed my endeavors and had the fun of the Group's input. You are never too old to try!!
9/30/08 I am a new grandma to a 9 # baby boy- the first grandson for us. In another month we will add a great grand-daughter to the pack.I am a happy woman.
