Life: From College Point and 6th grade at PS29, I went to Nesconset Grade school from 7 to 8th, then 9 to 12 at Smithtown Central HS. From Smithtown High I went to Endicott College in Beverly MA. Worked as a seating hostess at the Three Village Inn in Stony Brook, LI until becoming a TWA Hostess just before my 21st Birthday. Flew out of Newark NJ, for just under 2 years, married a TWA ground personnel person. Moved to Revere MA, had a child, was in an fatal auto accident which ended that phase of my life. Spent the next 5 years in a wheelchair and on crutches relearning a new life. Visited my parents in Nesconset and met Bob Gampp from Centerich LI. He moved to Boston and joined the Staff at MIT Draper Lab and we were married and had Lorrie and Terry (boy). When the kids were in their early teens, Bob was traveling to CA for MIT, met new people in CA and traded us in for a new life for himself in CA. The kids are now in their 40's. Lorrie is married and lives 1 hr from me. Terry is married and lives in Redlands CA. After the kids finished college and no longer were living at home, I went to Las Vegas to work for a couple of years. The game plan was to teach desktop publishing, but ended up with my managing an office and showroom for outdoor lighting and furniture.
