Elaine's Story
I didn't graduate from Watertown High, as my parents whisked me away to Vermont just before my senior year. I graduated from Woodstock Union High School in 1970. er, moose, and black bear. We make our living together as passionate gardeners/farmers/arborists. We grow a lot of our own food and preserve it for the winter months. We heat our simple home with wood and our hot water with the sun's energy. After my mother died in 1992 from complications from smoking, I rekindled an interest in singing, and haven't stopped. I have studied classical technique with more than a few maestros, and enjoy every performing opportunity that comes my way. I love to travel. My favorite places in the world, besides Vermont, are Italy and Hawaii. I have survived breast cancer since my diagnosis in 2002. I love greyhound dogs, and currently Pete and Sue are my constant companions.
