Elaine's Story
I got pregnant, after a sexual assault, while in school and because of this I attended Nitro High School part time- the other time I was tutored at home. I wasn't able to get my diploma with my class but I was allowed to take my GED exam and get that diploma at the same time as my graduating class-1985.
I have lived in WV for the most part though I did transfer for a job to Falls Church, VA for a year and to Burlington, VT for a few months.
I was a Loan Supervisor but Iafter an auto accident in 2000 I stayed home for many years. I reentered the workforce when I went to work for my son Cameron Vance State Farm.
My 2nd husband passed away from cancer in 2002; I have since remarried and divorced. I have a ton of children lol. My oldest was given up for adoption but he found me a few years back. Bc of their life choices, I do not have a close relationship with him or my oldest daughter. My son is an independent insurance agent, married to a wonderful man. My daughter works for my son and has a 3 year old. At home I have Maddie 15...Expand for more
and Journee 7. I also raised 2 other girls. I have 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. I am very family focused and enjoy family times.
I have lived in the North Charleston area since 1998.
I don't know that I would change one thing about my life because to change one thing could change many.
I am basically a happy, outgoing person. I like to go out some but prefer to spend time with my family. During the summer we spend a lot of time out by our pool and this summer I hope to put in a hot tub!!
I would love to hear from some of my old friends!
To blow off steam I drive around singing and smoking my Sonomas.
My inspiration comes from my children!
If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to my children, then spend the rest on charities, bills and myself!!.
My best friend would tell you I'm friendly, fun and outgoing, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as snobby.
Other than a few gray hairs and a couple of slight wrinkles, I look pretty much the same as I did way back then.
