College I loved the U of S campus - so beautiful with all the trees and the greystone buildings. I had the most fun at university during my last year, when I got involved helping out the Education Student Union members. Wish I could catch up with some of my university friends from that time. Workplace I have had a number of jobs since I graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree. And, though some of them had nothing to do with teaching, most of them have at least had something to do with children. Along with teaching in various schools, I have owned my own Nursery School, been a portrait photographer, and been a Supervisor in a daycare. I am about to embark on another career...travel agent. Hmm... just can't seem to settle on one thing for too long. To add to the story...since the travel agent job I have worked as a Doctor's receptionist, and a picture framer. Now I am starting another new job...embroidery machine operator. Really can't seem to find the right job for me. Maybe this one will be it. More updates on the job front. Since the embroidery job, I have worked as a parts and clothing advisor at the Skidoo dealership in town. Now I am in between jobs and hopefully will find something that I can stick with. lol.
