Elaine's Story
Life
I have been married for 18 years to a wonderful man. I feel like our marriage is as new and alive now as it was 18 years ago. I have three wonderful step-children. Justin is 26, Megan is 24, and Chelsea is 22. Justin and his wife have two beautiful daughters. Autumn will be 4 in March. Hannah will be 2 in May. Megan has a beautiful son who will be 4 in September. Megan lost her first child a year before her second son was born. Megan and her husband are expecting their third child in August. Justin and his wife are expecting their third in March.
My husband and I are currently in the process of landscaping our back yard. We just finished a 120 foot flower bed that will be home to flower bulbs.

I recently had my 30 year high school reunion in Ruidoso, NM. Everyone had a wonderful time seeing old acquaitances and creating new friendships. The people from my class that didn't come really missed out.
Workplace
I am currently employed with the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection in El Paso, TX as an Agriculture Specialist.
Military
Three years after I graduated from Sandia I enlisted in the Air Force as a jet engine mechanic. I spent 10 years in Mesa, Arizona stationed at Williams AFB. I met my husband at Williams. When Williams closed in 1990, my husband and I were transferred to Cannon AFB in Clovis, New Mexico. My husband retired in December 1994. I retired six months later, in June 1995.
