Elaine's Story
June 8,2016
Welll here I am again writing in Classmates. I have not been a member for a long time. I use facebook. My membership here ends Aug 31/16. Any one can contact me on facebook. Interesting reading my previous comments . We retired and now are in to our 3rd year. We went south to San Diego first year and Sun City West
AZ the second year. Going back to AZ this winter. Daugther and Son are now married. We have our first
granddaughter and oh my god she is precious. I do volunteer for a school to help the kids with reading, lots of fun.
As we grow older we lose our parents and other elderly relatives, we lost my beautiful mother in law at Xmas
which was hard. We are in the middle of renovations, how I hate it because we do it our selves.
I look at some of these photos and remember many of you. We have lost some of our former classmates, one
being Dan Hobbs, such a sweethart. We have travelled a fair amount and hope to do more.
I will not be at the reunion as our son and new daughter in law will be visiting from Copenhagen Denmark for a mo...Expand for more
nth and I look forward to having them stay with us and visitng.
I wish you all continued Health and Happiness.

Hmm , interesting I have not written anything in Classmates for many years. I think it has been about 10. Where does time go?? Kids are long gone, but still very much in our lives which is great. No marriages or grandchildren yet.
Still not sure I am ready for that ...lol Our daughter is getting married in August 2014 in Winnipeg, funny how things
go around considering I was born in Winnipeg and lived there for my first 5 years.
My husband and I are going to retire next year and that is great, awesome, scary and many other emotions
all rolled up into one. So the big question is "then what" ? I really don't know, maybe work part time, certainly
volunteering in elementary schools helping kids read. Going south in the winter for 1-3 months, cannot handle
winters they are way to long.......
I am sure like all of you who read this, we have had our ups and downs in life, sadness and happiness but
are grateful for all we have.
