Hi! I was Eleanor, or Ellie, in high school, Ellie in college .. I've been Lea Wait ever since. I worked for AT&T for 30 years in public relations and strategic planning, adopted 4 wonderful older Asian girls as a single parent, and in 1998 left corporate life in New York and New Jersey to live in Maine. You may remember me as the editor of The Journalist? Well, I haven't stopped writing. I wrote speeches and corporate nonfiction for AT&T, but since I left corporate life I've focused on writing fiction. I've been lucky enough to have had 25 books published, eight of them by Simon & Schuster.
