Eleanor's Story
Life
I have two kids. I have two grandkids, grand daughter Brianna, born 6/02 and a grandson Jonathon born 11/00. I would have three but my first grandchild Cassidy Ann passed over at 18 months old in 1997. I worked for the state of CT. First doing payroll for the State Police, Then transfering into Police work at agency level (college, DMHAS) I retired October 1, 2003 but workded PT for DMHAS until Oct. 2005. I have been involved in a lot of volunteer work. I co-chaired the bank street fair (sail fest) for ten years when MCDC ran it. Rock Ragetta in Stonington, for several years. I have volunteered at the Sterigo concert several times. I have helped with American Cancer fund raisers. I was a State Police Aluxilary Trooper for three years. I was a member of the New London Kiwanis Club and recently helped form a new Southeastern CT Kiwanis Club in Norwich, CT. I helped with WHS 66 five year class reunion and co-chaired the 25th class reunion. I chaired the 40th class reunion with the help of five other classmates. I helped at a daycare center and was volunteering my time with Kiwanis, Make a wish, and Relay for Life! last winter I bought a condo in West Melbourne, Fl and now plan on staying there in the winter!
