Eleanor's Story
What do I really do? I spend lots of time with church activities. I am part of a group that makes handmade cards and mails them to shut-ins. I am in the choir (make a joyful noise) even though I cannot sing. My husband and I get out of town once a year for the boys state basketball tournament in Austin. If I am really lucky I attend a quilting retreat once a year and I have not missed the International Quilting Festival in Houston in over 20 years. My dream is to stay in the Hil...Expand for more
ton Hotel next to the Brown Convention Center and attend all 4 days of the festival. I love going to the big flea market in Canton--but have stopped going when icicles are hanging from the eaves or when the temperature reaches the mid-nineties. Cleaning house is not my favorite thing to do and cooking is no longer at the top of my favorite things to do.
I go to Bryan (home of the Aggies) once a week to shop and get my weekly allergy shot. As you can see, I lead an exciting life!!!
