Life I met my husband Kalpesh in September of 1996 on the internet. Kalpesh and I married on March 21, 1997. We've been married 18 years and we have 3 beautiful children. Avani (16), Samir (14), and Jasen (11). We currently live in Loves Park, IL. My 3 children are probably my best friends in the world! School My high school days were some of the toughest times for me. I was picked on for being one of the biggest "nerds" and one of the biggest "goodie two shoes" in the school. One of my best qualities to date is my "non-conformist" attitude! I chose not to do ALL the things the other kids did! I had friends in all the different "clicks" because of my personality...and the kids that were friends with me didn't care if I was a nerd or not! The ironic thing is...all the kids that used to do all things I didn't do in high school...are now talking to their teenagers and praying that they are "goodie two shoes"! :) Now...I tell my 12 year old...be like I was in high school... your own person...and don't be like everyone else!
