Eleanor's Story
After graduation I joined the Air Force. Met my first husband, got married, two months later was pregnant and had to leave the Air Force (in for 2 years). Have a daughter and a son. Separated in 1965 and stayed single until 1983. Raised my kids and worked at Becton-Dickinson (13 years) until had to leave there on disability. Have sold Avon, worked retail, worked with Gibson Greeting Card, Co. (6 years). Second marriage acquired a step-son and step daughter. Altogether have 11 grandchildren. 8 girls and 3 boys. Was a care giver first for mother-in-law then, mother and husband for 21 years. Widowed in 2005. Have enjoyed traveling the USA 6 different times since 1983. The last by myself for 3 weeks.
Have a "Bucket List" of things to do the rest of my llfe. Started with Skydiving 2007 (twice), traveling to wherever I feel like going. Meeting new friends. Live life to the fullest. Love my computer, dining out, friends, movies, hunting, fishing, NASCAR, football. Interest are unlimited for now. P.S. I never married HARRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
