Elisa's Story
Life
In October '00 I returned from an MSU Study Abroad program in the Philippines where I hugged trees and petted bugs for 4 months. I went back to Michigan State to work on a BS in Forest Conservation and a BS in General Entomology. I graduated with both degrees in May '03.

to school at the University of Michigan to get my MA in Science Education, which I have now completed (April '07). In the fall of '06, I began an MS in Conservation Biology which I plan to finish in August of '08. I will spend the summer of '07 doing research for my thesis in the Philippines, where I will collect and analyze arthropods on agricultural land to determine the effects of soil conservation on arthropod diversity.
