Warren and I got married while he was in law school at UVA (3 weeks before I graduated from Winthrop). He joined the Army after law school and we lived 15 of the 30 years overseas in Europe or Central America. (We moved 19 times in 30 years - we had a lot of 1 year assignments stateside) Because of our frequent moves, I home schooled our children, 3 through 8th grade and one until 11th grade. I guess I did okay as each got at least one scholarship. All four children are married and we have 5 grandchildren, 3 of whom live just over a mile away while 2 live on the other coast. I work part time in a Christian bookstore, Warren is a civilian with DoD. We both still love to read and we adore cruising. As much as I loved Charleston, I think I found my true home when we lived in Panama and I would go there in a heartbeat, except I'd have to give up the nearly daily visits with the grandchildren. The only city in the world I'd be willing to live in is London....Expand for more
