Life
The summer of 2003 won't be too hard for me to forget. My aunt, Martha Burns, ( does anyone know my cousins Scott or Russell Burns), died June 23rd and my 5th grandchild was born June 24th. I spent a few days in McDonough, GA for the family memorial service and I spent a few days in Tucson, AZ to visit with my father, Robert Moore and my brothers, Kevin, Kerry and Brian. The Catalina Mountains were on fire! It was sad to watch. I've read 6 of the Joanna Brady mysteries written by J.A.Jance. Good stuff. I don't know why it took me so long to read her stuff. he night the Night Blooming Cirius were in bloom. She flew in from Seattle just for that glorious night. She told a story from the Native American tradition about this very unique plant.
I sent in my application to the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. If I am accepted, I'll start attending classes in early September. I have 33 credits toward a Masters of Divinity Degree from Seattle University.
I am still married to my second husband, Robert. We celebrate our 14th anniv on Aug 19. I celebrate my 52nd bday on July 22nd. We have an 11 yr old son, John, who is keeping us busy this summer as well.
