Schools I attended in Victoria - Cedar Hill Elementary grades 1-5 (where my Dad went to school), Doncaster Elementary - grade 6 Lansdowne Juniour High - grades 7-9, & Mt. Doug High School grades 10-12
-worked for Saanich Playparks Program for 5 yrs.
- worked as costume seamstress & dancers backstage wardrobe assistant with My Mom helping while my younger brothers & sisters performed in the Stage Entertainment at the "Butchart Garden Summer Shows " 3 evenings a week over the summer months for 5 yrs.

-1966 started my chosen career training & Graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Dec. 1966 - Our class was the first Victoria class to write exams for both the Victoria Vocational School for Practical Nursing & B.C. Provincial Exams for Licensed Practical Nurses --- after we had completed many different sections of our training in all 4 Victoria hospitals. Upon graduation, I decided to work at ST. Joseph's Hospital, Children's Ward, Victoria , B.C. where" I " was born.
I then changed my vocation for a while and worked for Island Florist until I moved to Duncan B.C. after my marriage to Ron Meed.
- I then went back to nursing at Cowichan District Hospital,Duncan until my first child was born. I was also kept busy with our 4WD family business and enlarged our family with 2 more children over the years.
- Several years later, my nursing lead me into Home Care in Duncan after leaving the 4X4 business and our marriage.".
