Life
Where to begin...
I've been married for 15 years to Gary Vogel, former freelance photographer and writer. Since 1998 when we adopted our son, Alex (now almost 13), Gary has been a stay-at-home dad. Am I lucky or what? We also have two dogs, Duke (go Blue Devils) and Chewie (short for Chewbacca), and a cat, Jessie. We live in Asheville, NC.

ding up with a PhD in math. I was a professor for several years at Southwestern University, but left to try some new things. Long story short, my family and I moved to the mountains and I started an analytical consulting business. I'm fortunate to have a lot of work with pharmaceutical and medical device company clients, but no one telling me what to do. It's great.
My hope is that we'll stay cozily settled in Asheville for many years to come.
