High school was a great experience for me but I was also dealing with so much negativity at home. Eventually my parents divorced and our family became divided and has for the most part been fractured ever since. However, the pathways of life have given me so many blessings and opportunities to be thankful for. Whether I garnered my creativity and diversity from adverse circumstances or whether these qualities are in my DNA, I don't know ...either way I'm grateful for it all and try not to take things for granted, although I'm sure I have at times. Though I've been down and out along the way I have come to understand I have a most treasured inner strength that has prevented adversity from breaking me. So I continue to create, grow in wisdom, nourish my broken bits, and focus on making a difference to whomever I can, in whatever way is open to me in the moment.
